QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN KVS NVS

405 . Shri HARISHCHANDRA DEORAM CHAVAN
Will the Minister of HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:-
(a) whether the Government has reviewed/evaluated the quality of education being imparted in the Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) and the Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVs) especially in non-Metro cities and if so, the details and the outcome thereof;

(b) whether there is any proposal to seek accreditation standards for quality school governance initiated by the Quality Council of India for the KVs and NVs for improving the quality of education imparted therein and if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether such schools provide help to assist the students to prepare for various academic and professional competitions by assisting them to improve their general knowledge skills; and
