The first official statement on Interim Report of Seventh Pay Commission has been received. "No Report, including any interim one, has so far been submitted by the 7th Pay Commission", in reply of question "whether Commission proposes to submit any interim report" asked by Shri Shantaram Naik, Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha the Minister of States in the Ministry of Finance Shri Jayant Sinha informed the Rajya Sabha in a written reply.
"The Commission’s Terms of Reference do not enjoin upon it to keep the Government updated on its functioning and the procedure being followed by it during the course of its deliberations" MoS in Finance Ministry informed in written reply of question regarding the details of meetings of 7th CPC.
