As per Manorma Online news article the Kerala Pay Revision Commission is likely to recommend Rs 16,000 as the minimum salary and Rs 1 lakh as the maximum for state government employees.  The Minimum Salary is the main item for multiplication factor for salary structure. JCM & other union is suggesting Rs.26,000 as minimum wages to 7th Pay Commission.  The minimum salary is Rs.7,000 in 6th CPC.  If Rs. 16,000 as minimum salary fixed by 7th CPC then multiplication factor for 7th CPC pay structure will be 16,000/7,000 = 2.3 and 3.7 will be multiplication factor when Rs.26,000 taken as Minimum wages.  Read the Onmanorma New about Kerala Pay Revision:-

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Pay Revision Commission is likely to recommend Rs 16,000 as the minimum salary and Rs 1 lakh as the maximum for state government employees. Salaries will go up 13 per cent when the dearness allowance of 80 per cent is merged into it. There was a 12 per cent increase in the previous pay revision.
