7वें वेतन आयोग ने सिफारिशें केंद्र को सौंपी- प्रमुख हिंदी समाचार पत्र दैनिक भास्कर ने दावा किया है कि वेतन आयोग की रिपोर्ट की प्रति उसके पास उपलब्ध है। समाचार पत्र ने दावा किया है कि 31 दिसंबर तक इन पर आखिरी फैसला होगा। केंद्र सरकार ने हाल ही में 7वें वेतन आयोग के समय में 4 महीने विस्तार दिया है।

Pension fund can grow up to 20% of country's GDP: EPFO Central Commissioner K K Jalan

NEW DELHI: Stressing on finding more ways to expand investment avenues in the country, EPFO Central Commissioner K K Jalan today said India has the potential to increase the size of its pension fund by 10 times to around 20 per cent of the GDP.
"Luxembourg is a small country where the pension fund size is about 160 per cent of the GDP. Australia probably has 40-50 per cent of GDP as the size of pension fund.
"In India also we can work it that way, we can make the pension fund to roughly around 20 per cent of the GDP. If we really work well, we can make 20 per cent of GDP as pension fund. If that happens, we have a lot of money available through the investment in various sectors," Jalan said at a conference on Pension and Social Security Reforms here today.
He added that the pension fund plays an important part in the economy.

'Notification on OROP may take another month'

NEW DELHI: A government notification implementing 'One Rank One Pension' scheme may take another month, top defence sources said today.
"It can take 2-4 weeks more easily because it is quite an extensive issue," the sources said.
Asked if the government will have to wait till the Bihar Assembly polls get over, they said the announcement has already been made and what is now expected is just a formal notification.
The government had announced the OROP scheme earlier this month and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar had said a notification could be expected in a month.
However, some of the veterans have objected to the scheme.

When will the 7th CPC will submit its report? There are three possibilities now on submission date
Many news papers including Danik Bhaskar, Times of India, NDTV CNN IBN, Hindu etc had reported that the 7th CPC will be submitting its report on 30th September 2015 itself.
The 7th CPC chairman had informed in a PTI interview Justice Ashok Kumar Mathurji had stated that “The Commission will submit its report by the end of September,”
The Hon’able Finance Minister had also informed the 7th CPC report will be submitted shortly.
The 7th Pay Commission has asked for a two month extension from the government. That the Commission is hoping that the government would take a call on One Rank One Pension, so they could modulate their own formulation in terms of pay revision. Now the one rank one pension issue has been resolved, but the formal orders are not issued, it will be issued only next month. After the issue of the ORBP orders then 7th Pay Commission will submit its report.

Independent Emoluments Commission likely for MPs: Fact: As per a comparative analysis of Members of Parliament in 37 developing and developed countries, basic salary of MPs is in the range of Rs.7,952 in Tunisia to a high of Rs.6,16,675 per month in Israel. MPs of only in six countries i.e Tunisia, Venezuela , Sri Lanka, Nepal, Haiti and Panama are drawing salary less than that of Indian MPs.
